                                                       WAIVER
I know that fishing in a tournament is a potentially dangerous act.  I should not enter unless medically able and my equipment is sound.  I assume any and all risks associated with these events. Knowing these facts I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, waive, release, and discharge Pheasants for the Future, tournament officials, volunteers, and any and all other sponsors including their agents, employees or assigns, or anyone acting on their behalf, from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury, or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of, or in the course of my participation in these events.

In the event of weather related postponement - Tournament will be fished on Sunday, May 17th - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

• Eligibility - Two man Teams - 100 teams fields.
   
• Sportsmanship - Good sportsmanship is mandatory - Any infractions will result in immediate disqualification.
   
• Tackle & Equipment - Artificial and live bait may be used.  Two rods per person can be used.
   
• Fishing Area - Lake Audubon - Boating areas only - Docking at Totten Trail Ramp.
   
• Fishing Hours - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm - Any team returning later than 3:00 pm SHARP will be penalized 25% of their catch weight.
• Scoring - Prizes will be based on most weight in pounds and ounces of total fish taken.  Each boat will be allowed 10 fish, weighing 6 selected fish.  A prize will also be awarded for the largest walleye.  In case  of a tie - 1st Prize will be awarded to the team with the largest single fish.
   
• Inspections - Inspections of tackle and boat can be taken before, during and after the derby.  Any infractions will disqualify the entire team immediately.
• Rules Meeting - All contestants will be required to attend the pre-tourney rules meeting on Friday, May 15th @ 7:00 pm at the Holiday Inn - Minot.  (One team member must attend)
• Important - Only two (@) people per boat will be permitted.  It is illegal for any boat to pull up along side any other boat (except official boats) during the derby hours.
   
• Weights - Weights shall be verified and initialed by a team member at weight-in.
• General - Interpretation of the rules shall be left exclusively to the tournament committee.  All decisions of the judges and officials are final.
